Kiawah River Estates

Welcome to Kiawah River Estates

Kiawah River Estates (formerly known as Hope Plantation) is located off Betsy Kerrison Parkway on Johns Island; approximately a 35-45 minute drive to historic downtown Charleston and a five minute drive to Kiawah Island. This gated neighborhood is home to the Oak Point golf course, only one of the many Kiawah Island courses, but the only course located outside of the Kiawah Island gate.

Most homes in this neighborhood are elevated as the Haulover Creek flows along the banks and into the Kiawah River. Tennis courts, swimming pool, and a community crabbing and fishing dock offer residents and their guests outdoor fun.

You'll love Freshfields Village

Freshfields Village is a five minute drive and offers shopping, dining, medical and professional services, and a fabulous grocery (Piggly Wiggly’s Newton Farms). The Villages center green lawn area is host to a variety of live music on Friday evenings. Bring your blanket, picnic basket, lawn chairs and friends and sit a spell to enjoy the tunes under the stars and in the ocean breeze!
